PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT

For many veterans, service does not end when they leave the military. Still Serving Veterans (SSV), based in Alabama, helps veterans and their families successfully navigate the transition to civilian life while building stronger futures for themselves and their communities.

Through personalized, one-on-one support, SSV connects veterans with meaningful employment opportunities, benefits and resources, and a network of community support. Its approach recognizes the experience, leadership, and skills veterans bring to the workforce while helping remove barriers that can make the transition from military to civilian life challenging.

The impact extends beyond the veterans served. When veterans find stable employment, access the benefits they have earned, and establish strong foundations for their families, communities benefit as well. Their continued leadership, experience, and commitment strengthen workplaces, families, and the communities they call home.

Nā ‘Ōiwi Kāne has proudly supported Still Serving Veterans since 2025, helping advance its mission of empowering veterans and their families to build meaningful, fulfilling lives after military service. Through this partnership, we are honored to support those who have served our nation as they continue their journey of service, leadership, and positive community impact.
